This 8x10” is the smallest of the “brighter” works in this collection. My favorite feature of this piece is that it has so much texture for a small work. It has a big impact for it’s size in whatever space it is in.

Inspiration

While in the midst of painting this collection a friend offered to let us cut flowers from her beautiful flower garden. My vase ended up looking prettier than my own wedding bouquet. I had to paint them! They are so bright, cheery, and there is something so hopeful about them to me.
