This 10×12” is the medium sized of three “brighter” florals in this series. The colors are bold and spunky, but still have an elevated feel to them. This is one of my favorites in the collection.

Inspiration

While in the midst of painting this collection a friend offered to let us cut flowers from her beautiful flower garden. My vase ended up looking prettier than my own wedding bouquet. I had to paint them! They are so bright, cheery, and there is something so hopeful about them to me.
