This 18×36” was the first painting I completed in the collection. It is full of texture and layers that give it a really transformative feel depending on the lighting it is in. Would be perfect for a location that gets natural light throughout the day.

Inspiration

Inspired by mornings painting and coloring with my rambunctious kids while sipping coffee. A few months ago, I set out our drawing supplies and paper for when they wake. I found myself mindlessly painting hydrangeas in a vase at the dining table and it sparked a passion to explore still life on a larger scale. Creating alongside them has been a true gift for us all and creative “unlock” for me.
